Geoffrey Bunting

Geoffrey Bunting graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in International Relations and served three years in the US Navy as a Logistics Officer travelling extensively in the Far East and Pacific. He began his Wall Street career in New York in the international division of Smith Barney.

Geoffrey spent 25 years based in the City of London as an institutional equity specialist. At Merrill Lynch he covered key UK accounts as well as Middle Eastern sovereign funds. During Big Bang he led a team of 15 institutional sales people in London, Geneva and New York to form EF Hutton International Associates. The structure of EFHIA involving a New York limited partnership as well as international operating companies provided extensive business start up compliance and management experience. Geoffrey completed his sales career at Prudential-Bache where he was managing director of international sales research and trading.

In 1995 Geoffrey founded BIA Investor Relations which provides consultancy to a range of US, European and Indian corporations and financial institutions. In addition he is a consultant to a newly establish wealth management group.

Geoffrey's home is in Scotland where he plays a role in various community public service projects.
